About the Organization
WMMC is a fully-accredited acute care facility located in Warrensburg, Missouri. As a not-for-profit, county medical center, WMMC offers comprehensive health care services to residents of Johnson County and west central Missouri.
WMMCs mission is to improve the health of our greater community by providing quality healthcare services, exceeding the expectations of those we serve.
Our vision is to be the regional preferred provider of exceptional health care services.
About the Community
Western Missouri Medical Center was founded on July 31, 1963, as Johnson County Memorial Hospital. After over 20 years of expansion and growth, JCMH became Western Missouri Medical Center on January 1, 1986.
In the years since, Western Missouri Medical Center has continued to expand our services and bring many new specialties to Johnson County allowing area residents to receive quality care closer to home. Check out more of our history here!
