About the Organization
The VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System is in the heart of the NY Finger Lakes and serves twenty thousand Veterans in five counties, located in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York. The Medical Center operates a large outpatient clinic that serves a diverse population of Veterans in the greater metropolitan Rochester community, 30 miles to the north. Clinical services include primary care, medical and surgical specialty care, mental health care, alcohol/drug rehabilitation, and long-term care. The facility is affiliated with several leading training programs including the University Of Rochester School Of Medicine and Dentistry and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
The Bath VA Medical Center is also responsible for providing support for two national cemeteries, one located at Bath and also at Woodlawn in Elmira New York.
