About the Organization
California Skin Institute (CSI) began as a solo dermatologic surgery practice in Mountain View, California. Through the merger of over 64 outstanding dermatology and cosmetic surgery practices since 2007, CSI has grown into the largest private practice dermatology and plastic surgery medical group in California with over 400 employees. CSI, consisting of a medical group and management group, remains physician owned and controlled by the Founder in contrast to the 50 other large dermatology practices in the US that are controlled by private equity investors.
With an unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care, CSI offers one of the most state-of-the-art and comprehensive skin-based service lines in the United States encompassing all aspects of dermatology and plastic surgery. Our providers include board certified dermatologists, cosmetic dermatologists, laser surgeons, Mohs skin cancer surgeons, reconstructive surgeons, dermatopathologists, plastic surgeons, radiation oncologists, and experienced nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Our multidisciplinary approach to patient care accelerates the diagnosis and management of skin conditions by utilizing numerous centers of excellence including: over 100 laser, robotic, ultrasound, microwave, light based, radiofrequency, and radiation technologies; innovative local anesthesia cosmetic and reconstructive surgery techniques; a varicose vein treatment center; a robotic hair transplant center; a full service dermatopathology laboratory; and AAAHC Medicare-approved surgery centers.
