Career Fairs

To register for an upcoming CareerMD event, log in to your account and click the "Register for In-Person Events" link, under the “Career Fairs” title. You must pay by credit card at the time of registration. CareerMD cannot "hold" event reservations. If the registration deadline has passed or an event appears as "sold out" online, please contact a CareerMD representative or CustomerService@CareerMD.com.

Registration includes in-person attendance at the event for up to two representatives from your organization as well the complete lead list of all residents, fellows and physicians who register for the event.

You can access the list of physicians who participated by logging in to your CareerMD account and clicking the link for "CareerMD Career Fairs", in the "Download Candidate Lead Lists" section of your My Account page. The lead lists are available within 1-4 business days after the event date and will include any day-of registrations or "walk-ins". Candidate data typically includes the candidate's name, email address, training program, specialty, and year of completion. Candidates are requested, but not required, to submit their CVs, headshots, geographic preference, visa status, and phone numbers, so this information may or may not be included for each candidate. We encourage you to reach out to any/all candidates of interest. You may export the candidate lists to an Excel file or Word document, which we encourage you to do, since the lists are accessible through your CareerMD account for up to one year after the event date.

The majority of residents & fellows tend to RSVP within 1-2 weeks of the event date, with many registering a few days in advance or attending day-of as "walk-ins". Therefore, it is not possible to predict the number of participants at a given event, or to know what the exact mix of specialties will look like. Attendance is typically a reflection of the number and type of trainees in the area, and typically includes a mix of primary care and specialists. In addition to residents and fellows, job-seeking APPs (PAs, NPs, and CRNAs) may participate in CareerMD Career Fairs, although the majority of participants are typically physicians, residents, and fellows. CareerMD Career Fairs are promoted through training programs and directly to residents and fellows in the area. Practicing physicians, faculty, and program coordinators & directors are also invited to participate.

Once registered for a Career Fair, we suggest logging into your CareerMD account to update your current job postings and employer profile. As soon as you register for a Career Fair, your organization will automatically be listed as a "Featured Employer" on the CareerMD website and in all promotional materials for the event, and your job postings and profile will be made available to residents and fellows. The venue details will be listed on the event webpage.
