Currently seeking Family Medicine Assistant Director for a 4-4-4 Family Medicine Residency Program based in the heart of the Cedar Valley. This is an employed position with the MercyOne Northeast Iowa Waterloo Family Medicine Residency Program. This is a great opportunity to partner with MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center to serve patients and teach residents. Our ACGME accredited program trains Family Medicine Residents over a three-year cycle. Join a small team of dedicated Family Medicine Physicians who are passionate about graduate medical education and superior patient care.
Responsibilities Include:

- Actively teach residents in inpatient and clinical practice

- Oversee the education and performance of residents in an inpatient and outpatient setting

- OB Optional

- Call shared between core faculty, approximately 1:4-5*

- Oversee 1-2 program wide quality improvement projects

- Provide 10-12 lectures on various topics throughout the year

Candidates will receive:

- $212,000 minimum salary or commensurate with experience
