Job Description

Psychiatry Medical Director of Mental Health Integration

Ogden, Utah

Increasingly, the responsibility for providing mental health care falls to primary care providers. Mental Health Integration (MHI) is a collaborative, team-based, mental health care that is integrated into everyday primary care practice. The MHI process helps primary care providers deliver effective mental health care to their patients.

Studies show that an organized system of collaborative health care can improve every phase of care by identifying more people who need treatment, promoting treatment adherence, and reinforcing ongoing patient/family contact and support.
