Job Description

Medical Clinic of Sacramento, Inc. (MCS), a multi-specialty group with more than 400 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a provider to our growing Neurosurgery department. MCS doctors provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundations Mercy Medical Group locations throughout Sacramento.

The successful candidate will have a desire to perform a wide array of procedures to include intracranial, spine, trauma and other Neurosurgical procedures. Candidates must be BE/BC in Neurosurgery. Surgeries will be performed at Mercy General Hospital and Mercy San Juan Medical Center, a level 2 trauma center and the regions only Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. Call of 1:5 is required, with Hospitalists available 24/7.

This individual will provide service in direct support of the Mercy Neurological Institute of Greater Sacramento offering a complete interdisciplinary Neurosciences team including neurosurgery, neuro-interventional radiology, bi-plane angio neurointerventional suite, and dedicated Neuro ICU with Neurological Critical Care specialists. Mercy Neurological Institute ( is a market leader and is actively involved in clinical research trials and consistently setting the community standard for patients affected by neurological diseases.
