ED Nurse Practitioner--Angel Medical Center

Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC is seeking an Nurse Practitioner to join their Emergency Department.

- Advanced practitioner hours: 11 am -- 11 pm

Job Summary: Provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up under a supervising physician in compliance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

Required Education: Completion of Nurse Practitioner program with appropriate certification exams.

Preferred Education: None

Required License: Have and maintain current NP license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

Preferred License: BLS, ACLS for Adult ProvidersBLS, ACLS, PALS for Pediatric Providers

Required Experience: None

Preferred Experience: Two years experience as a Nurse Practitioner; knowledge of automated patient record management systems; knowledge of dictation equipment.

Angel Medical Center's Emergency Care Center is here to serve the citizens and visitors of western North Carolina in our State designated Level II Emergency Department 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

When patients with serious medical problems or injuries come to our state-of-the-art facility they are treated by a dedicated team of experienced nurses, physicians and other health care professionals. We work closely with our county Emergency Medical System who evaluate, stabilize and transport patients to our facility. We have physician specialists available 24-hours a day in addition to a full range of laboratory and radiological testing ability. Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (S.A.N.E.) are also available at our Emergency Department.
