Community, Facility and Organization
Montgomery General Hospital is a critical care non-profit hospital located 30 minutes from Charleston, WV.
The hospital has 25 acute care beds and are licensed for 44 long-term care beds.
The physicians provide coverage to a 60 bed nursing home across the street as well.
Our medical staff consists of 15 physicians and 3 midlevel providers.
The service area encompasses 15,000 residents.
Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc. is a non-profit, 956-bed, regional referral center with more than 7,000 employees. CAMC is home to one of the top five heart programs in the United States; the only kidney transplant center in the state; and one of the nation's busiest Level I Trauma Centers. All medical services are supported by primary care physicians throughout the region who regularly treat their patients at CAMC or refer them here for specialty consultation and treatment. In all, more than 700 physicians have admitting privileges at CAMC.
