South Plains Rural Health Services operates clinics in Levelland, Lamesa, and Big Spring, Texas, and its service area includes seven rural counties that comprise nearly 7,000 square miles with a total population of 109,000 individuals. During 2016, SPRHS provided services to 11,000 unique individuals through 29,500 encounters. The range of services include: primary health care, family practice, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, chronic disease management, immunizations, x-ray, lab, urgent medical care, family planning, full dental services, mental health counseling, optometry and pharmacy services. Services are administered by bilingual and culturally sensitive staff members who work together to provide the highest in quality preventive and primary health services to the target population.
