About the Organization

Maryland Inpatient Care Specialists (MDICS) is a private hospitalist group that currently serves in five hospitals: Anne Arundel Medical Center, a 300-bed regional hospital in Annapolis, MD; Calvert Memorial Hospital, a 100-bed community hospital in Prince Frederick, MD; the 100-bed Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD, which is affiliated with the University of Maryland;Bon Secours Hospital in Baltimore City 200 bed community hospital; and Baltimore Washington Medical Center, 300 bed short term acute care hospital. MDICS also serves in multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Maryland. MDICS currently has Rewarding Hospitalist Opportunities in several beautiful Maryland locations. MDICS is a hospitalist practice offering a unique approach to hospitalist medicine. We are currently hiring physicians who combine the practice of medicine with the business of medicine. We offer an excellent starting salary, base plus monthly productivity payments, leadership opportunities, flexible block and 7 on 7 off schedules depending on facility/Census 15-17, and exceptional benefits package including health, dental, life, disability, 401K with employer match, CME allowance, PTO, and malpractice. Hospitalist services vary among hospitals. Hospitalists in all hospitals provide primary care coverage and surgical co-management. ED unassigned coverage is provided in two hospitals. The hospitalists at Calvert Memorial Hospital and Bon Secours provide ICU coverage.
