About Friendship Senior Options

Since our incep­tion, Friend­ship Senior Options has had a keen focus on evolv­ing the ser­vices avail­able for seniors. We’ve inno­vat­ed the Con­tin­u­ing Care Retire­ment Com­mu­ni­ty mod­el in the Chicagoland area. Friend­ship Senior Options was formed in 2005 to over­see all of the growth and inno­va­tion asso­ci­at­ed with our exist­ing communities.

We’re built on a strong tradition.

Friend­ship Vil­lage of Schaum­burg has been at the fore­front of the indus­try since it was estab­lished over 40 years ago. It was the first Con­tin­u­ing Care Retire­ment Com­mu­ni­ty (CCRC) in the area to intro­duce assist­ed liv­ing. It was the first CCRC in Illi­nois to be cer­ti­fied by the Con­tin­u­ing Care Accred­i­ta­tion Com­mis­sion-Com­mis­sion on Accred­i­ta­tion of Reha­bil­i­ta­tion Facil­i­ties (CCAC-CARF). Today, it is the largest CCRC in Illinois.

Cou­pled with the open­ing of Green­Fields of Gene­va, we’ve cre­at­ed two of the most rep­utable retire­ment com­mu­ni­ties in the nation. Our ser­vices and staff are con­tin­u­al­ly laud­ed as some of the best in the industry.

At Friend­ship Senior Options, we real­ize that to deliv­er the best you need to invest. Over the last sev­en years, Friend­ship Senior Options has invest­ed over $250 mil­lion in cap­i­tal improve­ments to enhance the abil­i­ty of the orga­ni­za­tion to meet the needs of old­er adults.

We’ve accom­plished a lot in our short his­to­ry, and it is only the begin­ning. The state of the econ­o­my and the health­care debate have posed unique chal­lenges for our orga­ni­za­tion and the indus­try as a whole. But we’ve nev­er backed down from a chal­lenge. Through the years, we’ve faced many obsta­cles and reached our goals with a stead­fast com­mit­ment to our oper­a­tional objec­tives and our ded­i­ca­tion to the seniors we serve.

As we look toward the future, we get set to iden­ti­fy oppor­tu­ni­ties to inno­vate and evolve the senior ser­vices indus­try… just like we orig­i­nal­ly set out to do.
