Scrub in for designated surgeries and carry out general O.R. duties, adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington preoperative nursing care standards, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington policies and contract agreements. Collect data and prepare for surgery in accordance with surgeons direction or preference. Select and prepare supplies and equipment. Establish and maintain a sterile field.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
Minimum two (2) years of current continuous O.R. experience in surgical specialty.
Education
Graduate of approved school of Surgical Technology or equivalent Armed Forces training.
License, Certification, Registration
BCLS required by date of hire/transfer.
Additional Requirements:
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to life twenty-five (25) pounds.
