About the Organization
Founded 10 years ago, PCPA is a growing adult, adolescent and child psychiatric outpatient group practice with offices in San Francisco, Lafayette, Los Angeles (West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City area), and soon, on the peninsula (San Mateo to Palo Alto area). At PCPA, the doctor/patient relationship is our first priority and we strive to support our mental health providers in a variety of ways. All of our offices are beautifully appointed so patients and doctors have an aesthetically pleasing work environment. Since we tend to attract physicians who have been psycho-dynamically trained, we feel confident in our providers ability to choose the best method of treatment (whether it is therapy, medication management or both...without restriction). We hold catered informal case conferences 3x/week (during the lunch hour) to enhance the collaborative congenial culture and further support the clinician team. Lastly, we see telepsychiatry as another area for us to enrich the doctor/patient relationship. Through the use of technology, we can reach patients who may be traveling, on vacation or unable to physically be in the office for appointments. This service allows patients and providers another level of flexibility in planning their schedules.
