Adelante Healthcare's belief in sustainable health care is driven by our commitment to preserve your health, the health of your community and the health of the environment. This belief first took shape 30 years ago in the cotton fields and citrus groves of rural Maricopa County, where a small group of health care professionals formed Clinica Adelante to serve the needs of farm workers in the area. Now known as Adelante Healthcare, we currently operate 8 health centers throughout Maricopa County, Arizona, offering a wide array of services to patients of all economic backgrounds. Adelante Healthcare remains an important part of the Valley's health care safety net as we continue to expand our staff, services and locations. Each of our providers is board certified in disciplines that include dentistry, full-scope ob/gyn, pediatrics, family medicine and internal medicine. Our Health Centers are located in Phoenix, Mesa, Surprise, Wickenburg, Buckeye, Avondale, Gila Bend, and Peoria. About the Community
Adelante Healthcare serves the needs of Maricopa County, Arizona, a region encompassing 9,222 square miles, including densely populated metropolitan Phoenix as well as vast rural areas. Adelante Healthcare currently has locations in Surprise, Wickenburg, Buckeye, Gila Bend, Peoria, Phoenix, and Mesa. Sustainable health care is what drives Adelante Healthcare. As the guiding principle behind everything we do, it focuses on: Sustaining your health Sustaining the availability of health care for others in the community Sustaining the health of our environment. Sustainable health care is about treating patients who come to us for assistance, and helping them stay healthy after they leave. Sustainable health care enhances the overall wellness of our communities by meeting the needs of those who need affordable health care. And, because we believe the environment around us should nurture, not harm, were committed to making our operations environmentally friendly in every possible way. Our staff is multicultural and multilingual and everyone is trained to respect and honor cultural differences. At last count, our providers spoke 13 languages and we are always happy to provide translation services for individuals who need it. Adelante Healthcare is recognized by the Human Rights Campaign as a Leader in Health Equality. We have instituted training and policies intended to respect and honor the needs of our LGBT community. And because we know many in our community struggle with financial security and paying for health care, we offer a number of ways for families to get the care they need including providing help with AHCCCS applications and the Health Insurance Marketplace as well as providing affordable self-pay and an income-based sliding fee discount program.
