About the Organization

Designed to meet the diverse health care needs of the Big Bend region, Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is a private, not-for-profit health care system serving 16 counties in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH includes a 772-bed acute care hospital and a variety of services to meet health needs across the lifespan.

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare holds a number of important distinctions within the regional health sector. TMH is home to the Big Bend's only accredited community hospital cancer program and the region's only state-designated Trauma Center. TMH is also the area's only hospital recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. In addition to our acute care hospital, Tallahassee Memorial has a psychiatric hospital, a Rehabilitation Center, a Family Medicine Residency Program and a multi-specialty employed physician group with over 100 physicians.

TMH is the eighth-largest hospital in Florida with a medical staff of 500 physicians representing over 50 different specialties.
