Magruder Hospital is an independent Critical Access Hospital (25 bed) that has state of the market technology and resources. 27 Active Staff provide a full range of services. A very experienced ER staff provides wonderful care to the community and visitors to our area. CERNER technology offers care at the bedside and streamlines the patient information to physicians. Physicians visiting our hospital are pleased to see the technology and range of services offered in a caring and compassionate atmosphere with a supportive Administrative team.
About the Community
Located on the coast of Lake Erie, Port Clinton and the surrounding townships offer world-class fishing, boating, beaches, golf and sightseeing and is conducive to business transportation. Family friendly area offers excellent schools with new buildings within the last 2-3 years. Major state arteries S.R. 2 and S.R. 53 link Port Clinton to Toledo and Cleveland as well as I-80/90. The major midwest north/south I-75 intersects the Ohio Turnpike in Elmore on the west side of Ottawa County. A local airport, the Ottawa-Erie County Regional Airport, just two miles east of Port Clinton, serves small aircrafts and three major airports are less than 1 1/2 hours away: Toledo Express; Detroit Metropolitan; and Cleveland-Hopkins.
