Salem Wellness Clinic is a new primary care practice that is focused on wellness. We believe that an ounce of prevention is worth more than pounds of cure. We are building a practice based on patient engagement and improved health and wellness. Our patients are encouraged to embrace better health by active participation in healthy activities and healthy life style choices. We believe in 20 minute appointments. This is the bare minimum to manage health issues and get to know your patients. As you can imagine this 20 minute rule will limit your income but it will not limit your job satisfaction. Our practice is based on old fashioned medical care with high technology assistance. Caring and nurturing relationships with patients and the most up to date technology to back you up. We have a beautiful office with great street side appeal, centrally located and a state of the art electronic record to assist you in providing high quality care to your patients. No short cuts, no mega-clinics visits with five minute appointments and no hospital privileges. Our hospital has a full staff of hospitalists available to manage in patient care. You go home at night. Night call consists of carrying your pager and cellphone to triage the few calls that may arise from a patient that is ill. We educate patients on when to call so calls are minimal. If you are interested in pursuing a career in medicine where you will be able to spend time with your patients and help them achieve their maximum health potential and still have time for a life outside of medicine please call me to learn more. About the Community
Salem Oregon is the capital of Oregon. The center of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We are less than one hour from Portland, one hour from the beautiful Oregon coast and approximately 2 hours from year round skiing. Outdoor activities are abundant and available year round. Our mild climate does not keep us indoors. Hiking, biking, walking skiing, camping the sky is the limit. Cost of living is modest and homes are affordable. Schools are excellent and there are multiple universities and colleges within an hour of Salem. Our political process is active and open for those who wish to dabble in politics. Oregon is a blue state and we believe in women's rights.
