About the Organization
Located in the Sunbelt, and surrounded by mountains, Tucson's metropolitan area population of 1,000,000 has almost doubled in the past ten years due to the increase of high technology manufacturers expanding in the area. Tucson is renowned for its superb weather. Warm and sunny throughout most of the year, the air is remarkably clear and dry, with a low relative humidity. The Tucson Medical Center campus, a non-profit, community hospital of 550 beds, is also home to the Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, the Cancer Care Center of Southern Arizona and the Children's Clinics for Rehabilitative Services.
