About the Organization
Confluence Health was formed in 2013 as an affiliation between Wenatchee Valley Medical Center and Central Washington Hospital, to create an integrated rural healthcare delivery system that includes two hospitals, multi-specialty care in over 30 service lines and primary care in ten communities across North Central Washington. With over 225 physicians and 100 advanced practice clinicians, we serve an area of approximately 12,000 square miles, and cover nearly every corner of this region through specialty outreach. Located in the heart of Washington, we enjoy open skies, snow-capped mountains, and the lakes and rivers of the high desert. We are the proud home of orchards, farms, and small communities. See how Confluence Health is delivering expert medicine to rural communities in the region. And, learn how you can be a part of it.
About the Community
Wenatchee: Wenatchee is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The Columbia River runs through town for plenty of summertime fun; in the winter, our local ski hill is just minutes away. We enjoy advantages of urban living as Wenatchee is a hub for shopping and entertainment while maintaining a distinct small town feel.
Grant County: Were known as much for our dazzling sunsets as we are for our prehistoric geology. If you enjoy outdoor recreation, our sportsmans paradise offers boating on the Columbia River, camping, hunting, birding and a wealth of activities across all four seasons. Here you can water-ski through basalt columns by day, attend an evening concert at one of Americas premier outdoor amphitheaters, then drift off to sleep in a tent under the soft light of the stars. This is as close to true pastoral living as youll find anywhere.
Okanogan County: Located just south of the Canadian border, Okanogan County is where the adventure of the mountain West is alive and well. Here youll find the largest Nordic skiing system in the country, 3,000 miles of hiking trails through national forest lands, and expanses of pristine wilderness that beckon to be explored. Residents enjoy wide-open spaces, clear blue skies and the matchless rhythm of all four seasons. Recreation opportunities abound for those with a passion for the outdoors. Enjoy backpacking, fly-fishing, mountain climbing, horseback riding, hot-air ballooning, snowmobiling, hunting and more. Okanogan County has a rich agricultural and cultural heritage, including a thriving creative community that supports art galleries, theatre and live music venues.
