In 2017, St. Josephs Health provided nearly 66,000 emergency room visits and discharged over 26,500 inpatient visits. Outpatient visits number 600,000 a year.
St. Joseph's is designated a Magnet hospital for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the highest honor bestowed on a hospital for nursing care.
St. Josephs Health joined Trinity Health, a leading national Catholic health system, in July 2015.
