The medical staff of more than 900 is comprised of physicians and dentists representing a broad spectrum of specialties. Almost 6,000+ other health care professionals and support personnel are employed by St. Joseph's.
In 2015, St. Josephs Health conducted over 9,000 inpatient surgeries, provided nearly 66,000 emergency room visits and discharged over 26,500 inpatient visits. Outpatient visits number 600,000 a year.
St. Joseph's is designated a Magnet hospital for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the highest honor bestowed on a hospital for nursing care.
St. Josephs Health joined Trinity Health, a leading national Catholic health system, in July 2015.
