OUR MISSION IS TO BE SOUTHWESTERN MICHIGANS LEADER IN HIGH-QUALITY, CUSTOMER-ORIENTED, COMPASSIONATE, HEALTH-RELATED SERVICES
Lakeland HealthCare is a financially strong healthcare system comprised of two hospitals, a skilled nursing facility, a nursing facility and an outpatient services center. Our scope of services includes oncology, cardiology and cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, rehabilitation services, emergency care, behavioral medicine, invasive and non-invasive radiology, full-service laboratory and a hospitalist program. We offer state-of-the art technologies including: 64-slice CT scanner; on campus MRI; and Stryker technology. Our larger facility (254 beds) in Saint Joseph, Michigan is currently undergoing the construction of a new patient tower offering private rooms, and our smaller facility (89 beds) in Niles, Michigan has completed a $22 million renovation project with future plans to construct a facility for outpatient surgery, endoscopy, and outpatient oncology.

Southwestern Michigan has outstanding public and parochial schools, summer and winter recreation, and access to performing arts and cultural activities. Our communities offer sandy beaches and dunes, boating, hiking, biking, and seasonal festivals. We are located on the shores of Lake Michigan, only 30 miles from South Bend, Indiana (Notre Dame) and 90 miles from Chicago, Illinois.
