We are proud to offer all major specialties and nearly all sub-specialty services.  Pikeville Medical Center  is a  Level II Trauma  center,  the only Level II Trauma center in the state of KY verified by the American College of Surgeons.  Pikeville Medical Center completed an expansion that includes a ten-story parking garage, an 11-story clinic building  which  house our physician offices and exam rooms, state-of-the-art operating rooms with new pre/post op care areas and a brand new cafeteria.  We recently expanded  our intensive care services bringing us to a total of 91 beds. We also finished renovating the Heart Institute, adding new cardiac cath  labs,  upgrading the existing cardiac cath lab, and  creating  a second interventional radiology/vascular suite. | About the community: Located in the heart of the east Kentucky mountains, the city of Pikeville is extremely welcoming to new community members.
