Job Description

Practice Highlights:
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Boise and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) seek a Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Clinical practice includes advanced non-invasive vascular imaging for diagnosis and treatment of vascular disorders, entire spectrum of open surgical and endovascular interventions, endovascular and open repair of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, management of cerebrovascular disease for stroke prevention, including, carotid endarterectomy and carotid stenting, treatment of peripheral vascular disease (PVD) ranging from leg pain with walking to critical limb ischemia with percutaneous intervention and bypass surgery, renal and mesenteric artery stenting and bypass for treatment of hypertension/renal insufficiency and mesenteric ischemia, upper extremity ischemia and thoracic outlet syndrome, dialysis access, evaluation and management of venous disorders including varicose veins and venous insufficiency. Scope of practices to includes both outpatient duties as well as inpatient/surgical coverage.


Schedule: Full Time, Mon Fri, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Call: After hours call support but no formal call rotation.

Requirements:
-Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho
- Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
- Strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group. In providing this support, you will obtain Idaho medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System's general internal program across all communities we serve.
- Previous advance practice provider experience in Vascular disease management or managing surgical patients preferred.
