Support: Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Baker City offers a 24/7 Emergency Department, 24/7 anesthesia support, and full ancillary departments (MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, Echo and Laboratory) with a newly remodeled clinic located inside the medical center building. Saint Alphonsus Medical Group provides regional network support and outreach for surgical subspecialties including surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, upper GI surgery, orthopedics, ENT, and gynecology; Local primary care and specialty clinics, medical oncology.
Status: Full Time, Employed
Schedule: Traditional work week, M-F with a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact time - includes clinic, procedures, & consults
Call: Requirement for 10 days of low call burden per month including one weekend at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Baker City. Call incentive pay for any call over the requirement.

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA general surgery residency program.
- Board certification through the American Board of Surgery (ABS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS)- or obtain such certification within 5 years of employment.
- Obtain Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC Ontario and SAMC Baker City as well as other affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
- Interest in a broad-spectrum general surgery and endoscopy practice.
