Job Description

The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC is currently recruiting for a psychiatrist to join our team of Psychiatrist. The Physician position is a fulltime employed position with Monday Friday schedule. Patient care will be in Consultative Liaison and inpatient services. Duties include ED consults, admissions, discharges and weekly care of patients in the caseload. A very competitive compensation package of salary and benefits with bonus will be offered. The ideal candidate will be BE/BC in Psychiatry. All patient care is provided in a multidisciplinary treatment setting, team consisting of Psychiatrist, NPs, Therapists, RNs/LPNs, Care Coordinators and Mental Health workers.


Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications).

MD/DO degree from an accredited program required
Board eligible or certified in Psychiatry required
Licensed to practice in the Washington, DC or ability to obtain
Minimum of four - five years of training experience.
Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
