Job Description
Overview:
Northwest Permanente, P.C. is currently seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to join our growing medical group at the Cascade Park Medical Office in Vancouver, WA. This role will support general adult psychiatry initially and then expand to work as a cohort lead for our newest integrated program supporting co-occurring disorders. The ideal applicant will have an interest in addicition care, including having a suboxone waiver. There will be additional opportunities to further train in this area, including being sent to Addiction Medicine ECHO training. This program will provide a team-based approach to addiction and the psychiatrist will have dedicated time to this program 2 days per week. The team includes 2 addiction specialty therapists (LCSW) and a peer (former recovered patient to be a mentor for patients that are currently struggling with addiction & concurrent mental health issues).
Our care model supports at least 50% virtual visits currently. It is preferred that applicants have experience with digital technologies (examples include telehealth and/or digital health). If no direct experience, then you will need to demonstrate both flexibility and adaptability to incorporate these into your practice as we continue to evolve our virtual care model. A comfort level with concurrent documentation is also needed for this role. Addiction fellowship training and/ or experience with addiction treatment programs is preferred.
