The Institute of Living, one of the first mental health centers in the U.S., remains one of Americas leading not-for-profit centers for patient care, research and education in the fields of behavioral, psychiatric and addiction disorder. Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services.

Nurse Practitioners are part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on intensive outpatient group therapy treatment to adults in our DBT Program (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). The advanced practitioner in conjunction with the team and the attending physician will provide assessments, evaluations and medication management for patients with mental health issues, specifically borderline personality disorder.

APRN licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of CT
In-patient or out-patient psychiatric experience as a nurse practitioner preferred
PMH-NP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) ANCC certification required.
