Job Description

The Mineral King Radiology Group in Visalia, CA is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist, with CAQ preferred. Our radiologists staff Kaweah Delta Medical Center and their two outpatient imaging centers. We have an excellent relationship with the hospital administration, and have been servicing the hospital for over 40 years.

We have a robust IR service that performs the majority of vascular and non-vascular interventions. You will do 50-60% interventional radiology, with 1:4 weekend interventional call. Weekday general radiology call until 9:00 pm is distributed equally among the group with overnight Nighthawk coverage and the day off post call. Weekend general call responsibilities until 6:00 pm are also shared equally. This is a partnership track position with 2 years to partner. First year receive 8 weeks of vacation, with 10 weeks the second year. Partners receive 12 weeks vacation a year. Starting salary of $350k, rising to $400k the second year; salaries are not RVU-based. Partner salaries are well above the median for California. Full benefits for the radiologist and family including health, vision, dental, and malpractice insurance, with reimbursement of up to $2500 in professional expenses and $2500 in personal out of pocket medical expenses. 401K retirement plan. Opportunity to participate in a non-qualified deferred compensation plan (rabbi trust) as a tax shelter. Up to $10k in relocation expenses.
