Opportunity Information: Sutter East Bay Medical Group, SEBMG, is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner responsible for the continued development of the Palliative Care at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, CA Alta Bates is a busy 1000 bed licensed acute care facility located in Oakland CA.
Sutter East Bay Medical Group SEBMG is a 320 member multi-specialty group committed to high quality, patient centered care where collaboration and team work is valued. Established in 2005, EBMG is one of the fastest growing multi- specialty medical group in Northern California. Overall responsibility includes providing leadership and direction for the ongoing development of the Palliative Care program and the multidisciplinary palliative care hospital team. Primary duties include inpatient consultative services to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families, expert source of information to the medical staff, administrative team, hospital staff, community partners and others. Also works collaboratively with the Regional Medical Director, Palliative Care and other system wide palliative care providers. This is an ideal position for an individual who is a strong leader that values team building and collaboration. Experience in hospital based palliative care program development preferred.
