eICU Program Regional Medical Director, Pulmonary / Critical Care Physician

Steward Health Care is seeking a dynamic physician to lead Stewards Massachusetts eICU Program. Additionally, the opportunity includes a staff clinician-educator position within St. Elizabeths Medical Centers Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, and an Associate Director of St. Elizabeths ICU position. Moonlighting opportunities also available.
This is a unique leadership opportunity to join a team of highly skilled and dedicated intensivists in a fast paced, technologically advanced setting. The physician will be responsible for leading our eICU intensivist team, providing direct patient care and developing and implementing initiatives in our eICU program that advance critical care processes and standardization throughout Steward Health Cares Massachusetts hospitals.
St. Elizabeths Medical Center, an academic teaching hospital and a major affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine, provides a full array of treatments and care for our patients and offers everything from basic pulmonary function tests to the most advanced interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will be suitable for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level and will have demonstrated a track record of excellence in patient care as well as experience as an educator in academic settings to students, residents and fellows.
Physician candidates should be comfortable and flexible in providing care across multiple settings and locations, including outpatient clinic, the ICU, inpatient pulmonary care and eICU.
Candidates need to be data driven, invested in developing high quality initiatives to enhance critical care outcomes and best practice compliance, and possess the necessary interpersonal skills to help drive process improvement throughout our system of care.
The ideal candidate will be board certified in both Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Experience in a physician leadership role and telemedicine is preferred however, not required.
