Pediatric Urologist


The Department of Surgery at VCU Health is actively recruiting for a fellowship trained, full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Urologist for the Division of Urology at VCU Medical Center and affiliated campuses. VCU Medical Center, a 700 bed quaternary teaching hospital, is one of the largest and busiest academic centers in Virginia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providepatient care to support pediatric urology, applied anatomy, and physiology education for residents and students
- Serve on departmental, College, and/or University committees
- Develop andparticipate in multi-disciplinary programs
- Will conduct clinical and translational research
- Willsupport the division with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Will build and maintain a busy patient centered clinical practice with focus on advanced pediatric urology, includingboth inpatient and outpatient management of all pediatric urological diagnoses and operative procedures
- Require a multidisciplinary approach with colleagues in pediatric nephrology,general pediatrics, transplant medicine, and others


QUALIFICIATIONS:
- Must be board certified or eligible in Urology
- Fellowship training or comparable experience in pediatric urology
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level
- Laparoscopic and robotic surgical experience
- Committment to developing unique and new minimally invasive techniques
