Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist

The Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Children's Hospital of Richmond (CHoR)at VCU is to serve the Commonwealth of Virginia as a nationally recognized entity of clinical, educational, and research excellence. CHoR is seeking additional faculty (non-tenure eligible) with experience in sickle cell to join in these efforts. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

This position will support the above mission by providing comprehensive and compassionate care for patients and their families with a focus in sickle cell. Will also provide a mix of direct clinical care and didactic and bedside teaching for students, residents and fellows.


- Participate in clinical, translational and/or outcomes research
- Will provide guidance and mentorship to students, residents and fellows
- Serve on departmental or School of Medicine level committees and engage in professional association activities

- Serve as a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with a focus in Sickle Cell with inpatient service and outpatient clinic duties, to include night and weekend call


- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology


- Research focus and/or external funding
- Med/Peds trained
