Mercy Clinic, named one of the top five large health systems in 2017 by Truven, is seeking an additional Trauma/Emergency General Surgeon to join an established and busy team of six surgeons on the campus of Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Candidates must have completed a General Surgery Residency and Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship.

This Position Offers:
Only Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis County, with over 80,000 emergency visits and 1,800 trauma activations annually.
Shared call rotation & night float system.
First Class OR with state-of-the-art equipment.
Academic affiliation with Saint Louis University General Surgery Residents.
A Critical Care Department which manages more than 100 ICU and intermediate beds including traditional coronary, medical surgical, trauma and neurosurgical patients.
Excellent subspecialty support available.
System-wide EPIC EMR.

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is a 979-bed non-profit community hospital that provides critical care access for St. Louis County, St. Charles County, and the surrounding areas through its Emergency Department. We provide oversight for several paramedic districts who bring critically injured and ill patients to the hospital by ambulance and helicopter.
