Baylor Scott White Health (Central) is seeking an outstanding academic BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, within the Department of Surgery.
Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery is required. Additional training in minimally invasive valve surgery, TAVR and TEVAR, VAD, and heart transplantation would be valuable
Experience in an academic setting is preferred
The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery and expected to contribute to the growth and development of disease based programs in partnership with the Divisions of Cardiology and Vascular Surgery.
We are actively involved in medical student and resident education. Academic appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor through Texas AM College of Medicine will be determined by experience and qualifications. The Division also has an active research program and is committed to supporting the right individual develop his / her research interest.
