Baylor Scott White Health (Central) is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Neurosurgeon for a full time academic appointment to join the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute in Temple, Texas.
The Department of Neurosurgery at BSW (Central) seeks a fellowship trained, board certified or board eligible neurosurgeon with a primary focus in pediatric neurosurgery. The ideal candidate will have processed superior clinical skills and is expected to expand the Department's pediatric neurosurgery clinical and research programs, work effectively in a multidisciplinary collaborative environment, demonstrative surgical technical excellence, and develop research programs related to their area of clinical focus. The candidate is expected to participate fully in the clinical and academic activities of Neurosurgery Department, including assuming an active role in resident training, teaching, and investigative endeavors.
Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor Scott White Health (Central) has a fully accredited seven-year neurosurgery residency program and is the only academic Neurosurgery Department in Central Texas with eight full-time neurosurgeons in a major teaching hospital and a level-I Trauma Center. The candidate will be eligible for principal faculty appointment with Texas AM University College of Medicine with academic rank commensurate with training and experience.
