Baylor Scott White Health (Central) is seeking an outstanding academic Trauma / Critical Care Surgeon (BC / BE in both Surgery and Surgical Critical Care) to join the Division of Acute Care Surgery, within the Department of Surgery at our flagship hospital in Temple, TX.
Position Information- Privileges at our ACS verified Level I trauma facility in Temple, TX- Joining a team of 7 trauma surgeons (3 acute care and 4 critical care)- Responsible for all trauma and acute care surgery consults- 24 hour Dedicated OR Suite to trauma and acute care surgery with no restriction to OR access- Experience in laparoscopic surgery preferred- Academic affiliation to Texas AM College of Medicine- Large general surgery residency program with resident coverage at all times.- Home call for trauma and acute care surgery is possible
Employment Information- Full time, employed position- Competitive salary and generous benefits package; including vacation and sick bank and up to 8% in employer retirement contributions- CME days and $4,250 in CME funds- EPIC EMR
