St. Michael Clinicopened its doors to serve the community in February of 2007. The clinic was designed around the use of the electronic medical record, offering state-of-the-art practice tools for staff and providers. It is a multi-specialty clinic which includes FM, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Podiatry, and Mental Health Services. Great opportunity in a booming family-friendly community that is easily accessible to the Twin Cities metro area, and near Albertville Outlet Center.
Admit to Buffalo Hospital, a 65 bed licensed facility, located approximately 12 miles from the clinic.
The clinic offers open access scheduling and a full service lab and X-ray.
An established, award-winning Electronic Medical Record is utilized.
This position exists to provide direct medical care within the outpatient clinic
Works collaboratively with patients to meet improve their health and well-being
Delivers evidenced based care that supports the Triple Aim of improved health outcomes, an exceptional patient experience and efficient use of resources is required
Practices in outpatient with call rotation for phone triage
100% outpatient based practice, and OB is not required
Functions appropriately as part of care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills, both their own and those of other provider and staff
Chart in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope
Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management
Quality improvement utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes or workflows
This position requires a Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine.
Must have demonstrated experience in designated specialty area
BE/BC Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
Must have current, unrestricted Minnesota State Medical Licensure
Work Schedule Additional Position Details 36 patient contact hours a requirement. Can chose to work a 4 day work week or 5.
