Advanced Practice Clinician - Child / Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Position Details

Benefis Health System is seeking a full-time outpatient Child / Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to add to our busy team. Work schedule consists of 40 hours per week no weekends and minimal call (on occasion may need to cover call for vacations).

The PMHNP will see patients for initial evaluations and follow ups in an outpatient facility and will work with the pediatric group of clinicians. Mental health practitioners diagnose and assess their patients' needs and work to create effective plans for rehabilitation, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medicine, and making referrals as necessary.

* Large service area, diverse practice

* Full time - Flexible schedule! Generally 3-4 days per week M-F, 8-4 pm

* No set call obligations

We currently have one Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist in the community, 1 employed Child/Adolescent Psychologist and 2 PMHNPs who are excited to welcome a new partner into an employed position with Benefis Medical Group. There are also 1 employed adult psychiatrist, and 5 employed adult PMHNPs in addition to 3 outpatient psychiatrists and a PMHNP in the community for additional support and collaboration.
