Job Description

Christiana Care Health System is recruiting for a full-time Neurohospitalist. Christiana Care Neuroscience Service Line is a well-established and expanding division of the Christiana Care Health System emphasizing quality of patient care, population health, and physician satisfaction, and well-being. Christiana Care inpatient neurologists are responsible for the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and management of neurological disease and associated conditions in the inpatient setting. Our neurology team is supported by highly-trained, experienced nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The hospital-based neurologists work closely with the neurocritical care team, interventional neuroradiologists, stroke program coordinators and administration, and robust hospitalist services.

The current inpatient team includes 4 board-certified vascular neurologists, 4 board-certified neurointensivists, a board-certified epileptologist, and two experienced general neurohospitalists. The inpatient neurology service is complemented by more than 10 outpatient neurologists (including specialists in movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, sleep and neuromuscular disorders) who assist with night and weekend coverage.
