The Hospital of Central Connecticut is a 446-bed, acute-care community teaching hospital with campuses in New Britain and Southington.
Affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery and a wide variety of specialties.
We are seeking Psychiatrists to provide coverage for our inpatient and outpatient units.
Our 32-bed inpatient unit treats adults and some geriatric patients; and our IOP program located in Southington is a mental health, substance-abuse and suboxone treatment center for older adults.
A mix of inpatient and outpatient work preferable, however we will consider either full inpatient or full outpatient.
The HHC Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is the Connecticuts largest truly integrated, not-for-profit behavioral health network. For more than a century, the members of the BHN have been connecting people with mental health and substance abuse services including inpatient and outpatient services and everything in between in a variety of settings for children, teenagers, adults, and older adults. It offers targeted and highly specialized programs that address the most challenging psychiatric needs and conditions in addition to meeting the more familiar mental health needs of patients at dozens of locations across the state.
