The positions are located within the Great Plains Area IHS. There MAY NOT be immediate vacancies at all locations. Interested applicants should check with the local Administrative Office concerning immediate employment needs. Positions may also be filled at other IHS locations including the Great Plains Area Office and Tribe Organizations as vacancies occur. The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients within the Great Plains Area.
Providing direct and comprehensive primary, preventative and therapeutic medical and nursing care to patients of all ages.
Assess the health status of patient and manage the care and medical treatment and develop a treatment plan.
Continue and maintain quality improvement and compliance with accrediting bodies.
Provide nursing interventions based on established plan of care and evaluate effectiveness.
