Regional Medical Officer CareMore Primary Care (Dallas/Fort Worth)

CareMores Primary Care & Collaboration division oversees strategy, operations, and care delivery in our comprehensive primary care business (Des Moines, IA, Memphis, TN, and New Haven/Hartford, CT) where CareMore builds and runs capitated primary care medical groups and provider collaboration business (Atlanta, GA), where CareMore deploys managed care and care delivery capabilities in partnership with provider groups and health systems. The Primary Care & Collaboration division currently serves over 40,000 complex Medicare and Medicaid patients in four states. The Regional Medical Officer, CareMore Primary Care (Dallas/Fort Worth) will serve as the physician leader for the CareMore Primary Care market in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area, focused on providing comprehensive primary care for managed Medicaid members with complex needs. The Regional Medical Officer (RMO) will bring CareMores history of proven impact in Medicare and Medicaid populations to the area, leading clinical design & strategy, building and leading a clinical team capable of delivering comprehensive care for complex patients, and constantly innovating to deliver high quality outcomes and experience of care. The RMO will be responsible for providing strategic, clinical, and operational direction to a team of physicians, NPs, case management, and other clinicians and working collaboratively with the business/operational leader of the market in a dyad leadership model. The RMO will directly oversee the market clinical team and directly care for CareMore patients 50% of his or her time, through practice as either as an extensivist or primary care clinician. This is a significant clinical design and leadership role in an care delivery organization with proven results and a national footprint. The RMO will report to CareMores Chief Medical Officer, New Markets, based in NY, and join a national cadre of forward-thinking clinical leadership across CA, AZ, NV, TN, IA, GA, and CT.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a MD/DO; training in internal medicine or family medicine preferred
Requires at least 5 years of experience as a hospitalist or primary care clinician working with complex populations, including 3 years of administrative experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Requires current unrestricted medical licensure in Texas and board certification
Strong strategic and clinical program development expertise
Clinician and team management experience
