Advanced Practitioner Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) Neurosurgery

Hartford HealthCare is a fully integrated system that includes five hospitals and a large multi-specialty medical group. Hartford Hospital, an affiliate of Hartford HealthCare, is the second largest surgical hospital in New England with 40 ORs, 5 robots, and over 30,000 operations per year including 1,600 in Neurosurgery. We have a growth opportunity for a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) who will enjoy:

- Unique, 1:1 training with a Neurosurgeon who is an excellent teacher and enjoys mentoring his staff!
- Growth and development; new Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program going live in the Spring
- OR Time 1st Assist, alternating with one other Surgical Physician Assistant
- Advanced minimally invasive surgeries
- Established practice and staff who take time with their patients
- Light Call schedule within the Practice

- Current CT PA License
- At least 1 year experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a NeuroSurgery or an Orthopedic setting; 1st Assist in OR preferred

- Full Time
- Hours may vary dependent upon case load
- Primary location in Vernon, CT
