Advanced Practitioner (APRN) - Behavioral Health - The Institute of Living's Young Adult Partial Hospital Program

We are seeking an APRN to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on services to young adults ages 1726 with significant mental health issues. The APRN in conjunction with the team and the attending physician will provide assessment, evaluation and medication management in Young Adult Services.

In addition to its regular program, the program offers a number of specialty services in this age population including an Early Intervention and outreach program for young people experiencing psychosis, a specialty LGBTQ program called the Right Track, and a Dual diagnosis program for young people struggling with both mental health and addiction issues.

The program provides services for medically fragile young adults and a summer and winter break program for college students dealing with anxiety and other issues interfering with school.

The APRN will work across all these programs to provide clinical services which will also include family work, groups, and being part of the outreach team for visits or medication management in the community.

Minimum requirements for this position include:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensed to work in the State of CT.
Previous experience in behavioral health as either a Registered Nurse or APRN.
