Summary of Opportunity
The Department of Dermatology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking academically oriented general dermatologists to join its growing faculty.
Temple's Department of Dermatology offers patients with all types of skin conditions some of the latest medical and surgical treatment options, as well as the opportunity to enroll in therapeutic clinical trials. Our dermatologists are leaders in the field and are committed to increasing our understanding of dermatologic diseases through clinical practice and innovative research. The new faculty member will be responsible for building a robust clinical practice while playing an integral role in the Dermatology Residency program.
We provide a full spectrum of comprehensive dermatology services in a variety of hospital and outpatient settings throughout the Philadelphia region including; Temples Health Science Campus, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Fort Washington and Center City.
The ideal candidate will have completed an M.D. or M.D. /Ph.D. along with training from an ACGME-accredited residency program. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible (for graduating residents). Candidate should also have excellent communications skills, commitment towards our multicultural underserved patient population, and a strong interest in teaching, patient care.
