A state-of-the-art hospital in northern California is planning to hire an additional critical care intensivist. The facility needs assistance with the high demand from the community. This is primarily a critical care position with some inpatient pulmonary consults. You will admit and provide critical care services for a closed ICU. You will need to be board certified or board eligible in critical care medicine. Pulmonary is a plus but not required. The schedule is a flexible, shift-based schedule. You can work as few as 10 shifts per month. You will provide critical care services for a closed, 12-bed ICU with a mixture of medical, surgical, cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery patients. The average census is eight to 10 patients per day. Overnight eICU support is available. You will need a CA license to be considered. You will be supported by other pulmonology, critical care specialists. The facility is accepting candidates who are board certified or board eligible.

You will receive relocation assistance and a signing bonus, life insurance, disability insurance, health/dental/vision benefits, retirement package, malpractice insurance, and CME allowance. This is a shareholder track position.
