We are currently recruiting for a Family Nurse Practitioner for a newly created floater position to assist in coverage for our Stuarts Draft Family Practice and Waynesboro Primary Care. This position will be responsible for providing primary care clinical services, including assessing and managing patients in the clinic, performing physical examinations, obtaining medical history and record findings, ordering appropriate labs and diagnostic procedures, etc. Our practice hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 8 p.m., and you will not be responsible for participating in our call rotation. We offer a very competitive compensation and benefit package, which includes a generous CME allowance and mileage reimbursement.

The UVA Physicians Group is the physician group practice of the University of Virginia (UVA), representing physicians and other allied health professionals who provide care within the UVA Health System, regional primary care and specialty practices. The Physicians Group is a distinct organization from the University of Virginia, the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, and the UVA Medical Center, however works collaboratively with these partners that make up the UVA Health System to provide high-quality patient care. Our physicians serve patients at the main UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville and throughout Central Virginia, including Culpeper, Richmond, Winchester, and additional future openings throughout Virginia. Through our partnership with the UVA Medical Center, our University Physicians Group physicians may have the opportunity for faculty appointments through sponsoring departments.

The University of Virginia Physicians Group (UPG) is the physician group practice of UVA which provides financial, clinical and administrative services for clinicians allowing UVA physicians and advance practice
providers to focus on delivering high quality patient care within UVA Health System and affiliated regional primary and specialty care practices.
