Obstetrics/Gynecology Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a BC/BE obstetrician/gynecologist to join a cohesive and progressive group practice located in the Lehigh Valley, PA. We are offering a comfortable call schedule, attractive compensation and benefits package and academic appointment at our affiliate, University of South Florida College of Medicine. Opportunity for teaching and clinical research is available. The practice is part of our large multi-specialty employed group with over 800 physician members. The department of OB/GYN has stable leadership, comprises over 50 members including generalists and subspecialists in RE&I, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and MFM (with 24/7 in-house coverage of high risk OB on L & D). There are 10 LDRs, a 10-bed perinatal unit, a 40-bed Level III NICU and the networks ambulatory surgical center with state of the art laparoscopic and robotics equipment in our Allentown campus. Approximately 4,000 deliveries are recorded annually. LVHN has a fully accredited OB/GYN residency program with five residents per year.

We are also very pleased to announce the opening of our new Family Birth & Newborn Center located on our Muhlenberg campus. We are now the only facility birthing babies in Bethlehem, PA, and delivering babies on 2 campuses!!

The Lehigh Valley is a beautiful suburban area conveniently located 1 hour north of Philadelphia and 1.5 hours west of New York City. We have excellent schools, 10 colleges and universities, an abundance of recreational and cultural offerings and a moderate cost of living.
