Vascular Neurology Opportunity
The Neurology Department of Ferrell-Duncan Clinic is seeking a Fellowship Trained Vascular Neurologist (BE/BC) to join an established neurology practice. The group provides services to one hospital, Cox South, a 596-bed Level 1 Stroke and Level 1 Trauma Center, in Springfield, Missouri. Medical Directorship is available with this position.

The CoxHealth Stroke Center was the first primary stroke center in the region to achieve Stroke Gold Plus Status by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. The Center is also designated by Neurosource as a Neuroscience Center of Excellence. Cox South Hospital has a dedicated 27-bed Neuro ICU and an inpatient neurological unit.

The neuroscience team at CoxHealth offers state-of-the-art care for patients with brain and spine diseases, disorders and injuries. The group of 8 neurologists practice general neurology with subspecialty care in neuromuscular diseases, epilepsy, sleep, and vascular neurology. In addition, CoxHealth offers the regions only National Parkinson Foundation Care Center.
